Kimberly

Kimberly is a board-certified, clinical Trichologist who has been dedicated to the study of hair and scalp for over 25 years. As founder of HPIHair, Kimberly has treated thousands of clients using a trichological, para-medical approach. She is internationally recognized and trained as a leading expert in the science and practice of hair and scalp treatments. Kimberly is an early adopter of cutting-edge treatments and is passionately focused on a whole-body approach as a Certified Nutritional Consultant. She is an active member of the World Trichology Society, International Association of Trichologists, National Alopecia Areata Foundation, American Hair Loss Association, and TLC Foundation. Kimberly’s vision for the company drives the operations, marketing, and business development efforts.

Dr. Monaco

Medical Director
American Academy of Antiaging and Regenerative Medicine Fellow

Dr. Monaco graduated from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in North Carolina with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1978 and completed his fellowship with the American Academy of Antiaging and Regenerative Medicine. Board-certified by the American Academy of Anti-Aging and Functional Medicine, Dr. Monaco has been awarded multiple prestigious awards, including Connecticut Top Doctor Award and Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award. He has also completed residency in OBGYN and is Board Certified in OBGYN. He has lectured both in North America and Internationally.

HPIHair has been under the Medical Direction, collaboration and support of Dr Monaco and his team since 2019.  We offer clients/patients across a multitude of hormones, thyroid, and hair restoration treatments.

Thais Buchert

RN, BSN

Thais is a registered nurse, hair loss specialist and clinical educator with HPIHair. She is a graduate from the University of Florida College of Nursing. Her extensive experience and interests offer her patients and clients comfort and compassion due to her deep understanding across the wellness spectrum. Her career in acute care trauma, emergency medicine along with phlebotomy & infusion therapy provides expert oversight to HPI and their hair loss clients. Thais is trichology certified by the World Trichology Society and is a lifelong learner with International Trichology Society.

She is a lifelong dancer, teacher and choreographer for local dancers and troupes throughout the Southeast.

When she is not working, she enjoys pub trivia, costuming, traveling to dance and spending time with her nephew.

Dr. Karin Byrd

Naturopathic

Dr. Karin Byrd is a board-certified naturopathic doctor with decades of education, training, and extensive clinical experience. She is an expert in addressing complex health challenges pertaining to digestive disorders, fatigue, metabolic dysfunction, autoimmune conditions, alternative cancer therapies, as well as blood work analysis and cellular detoxification methods.

With years of experience, successful clinical outcomes, and a genuine understanding of women’s health challenges across all life stages, Dr. Byrd continues to empower clients to restore their vitality through a comprehensive approach that combines education, lifestyle balance, and personalized and comprehensive wellness strategies for a lifetime of vitality.
